Rome's biggest and best
known flea market is Porta Portese, held every Sunday until
around 1:00pm in the area extending south from the Porta Portese,
an ancient Roman Port on the Tevere river, in the streets parallel
to Viale Trastevere. A mish-mash of new and old, the market has
all manner of incredible deal (but you'll need to be a hard bargainer.
