Placed in one of the most suggestive zones in Rome, adjacent to the Marcello Theatre, 500 meters from Campo de’ fiori and Piazza Navona.
Beyond the main entrance via secure gates is a wonderful atrium that offers all the mystery and magic of another era. This building is infact an ex-convent dating back to the 1400s. On the left is a staircase which separates this apartment from the rest of the building and offers your own private entrance. It’s perfect for those who want maximum privacy and tranquillity. The Marcello apartment is fully furnished with rare and antique pieces, the walls, with their original bricks, are patterned with small arches which keep this apartment in keeping with the history and period of the building itself.

The entrance leads to an open plan living/dining with table and seating for 6, a double sofa bed and glass door leading to a small balcony facing the internal courtyard. The kitchenette is complete with gas cooktop, fridge and crockery. The bathroom with shower has a window facing the internal courtyard also. The main bedroom is on the left and has a large window with views of an internal and private courtyard. The second bedroom has two single bunk-beds and a balcony with table and chairs where you can enjoy a private breakfast during the warmer months. The floors are terracotta which give the apartment a warm and comfortable feeling. The building has recently been restored internally and externally and is of particular interest to tourists. The apartment has autonomous heating, dishwasher, washing machine and colour television.

The Marcello Apartment is situated in one of the most suggestive areas of Rome and is directly opposite the Teatro Marcello, short distance from Navona Square and Campo de’ fiori. Campidoglio and the Trastevere quarter (famous for its restaurants and pubs) are at few steps. The shopping area of the Spanish Steps is easy reachable.
How to reach the apartment from Termini Railway Station?
By public transport: take the Subway line B - direction Circo Massimo - stop Circo Massimo. You will arrive in via delle Terme di Caracalla, take the bus nr 160 direction Lungotevere to Via Petroselli, your bus stop is just in front of the Synagogue. Turn right and you will find Via Portico d’Ottavia.

Booking Procedure. Simply complete the online booking form and submit. We will back with availability in 24 hrs max by email. To confirm your reservation you are kindly requested to send your credit card infos (by secure server). Bear in mind, that your card will be charged before your stay, with a Non-Refundable Down Payment: 30% of the cost of your total stay. Ten (10) days before the check in, your card will be charged for the rest 70% of your total stay.

The cost includes. Gas, electricity, water, linen and towels (weekly),dishwasher, washing machine, TV, taxes and services.

Security deposit. When you check in, you will be asked to provide a security deposit in cash which will be returned when you leave the apartment - this is simply a precaution to cover any incidental expenses during your stay.
For stays of max 5 days 100,00 Eur, for stays of 6 days or more 250,00 Eur.

Cancellation policy. From reservation to 11 days before check in: 30%. After: 100%. No show: 100%

Times. During the week, check in from 1500 to by 1900.
The guest must confirm his arrival at least two hours before arriving by phone. If this does not happen the owner will be not responsible for check in delays.
If the guest delays the check in time, he will have to pay the following fees:
- Euro 15.00 for a delay between 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm
- Additional euro 15.00 for every hour after 10.00 pm.
On Sundays and public holidays the check-in must be before 7.00 pm and it has an additional cost of euro 15.00.
Check out must be before 10.00 am.
If check out delays are not communicated in time, the guest will pay a “day use fee” which is 50% of the cost per night. If the check out is after 3.00 pm the amount will be 100% of the cost per night. In both cases the owner is authorized to take the money from the deposit.

Other. If there is any damage found inside the apartment/suite, during the check-out time, will be calculated basing the amount to charge on Marcello Apartment specific price list. The final cleaning fee is obligatory: 45.00 EUR.
IMPORTANT: We need the following info (otherwise we cannot guarantee the keys delivery):
- exact arrival time
- filght details (company name, airport name)
- client mobile number
Please contact the assistant Emanuela as soon as you arrive to the airport to fix the appointment for the keys delivery directly to the apartment. This is important because we don not have a 24 hrs reception as the hotels, the flight or the train could be late, you could have problems with luggages and not being at the apartment in time as agreed with our assistant or you could not find the apartment address.
