The rooms have roman names to them, and recall, the Great Consular
Roads, which, over the centuries were extended to make Rome the centre
of the world. Take the Via Appia - Regina Viarum - , the Queen of
All Highways, or Via Cassia, Via Aurelia - each opening up distant
lands. The Via Appia, for instance, was Rome’s effective gateway
to the East, the Aurelia hugging the coast northwards making for rapid
communication with France and Spain.
All the rooms have furniture handed down in through the family. All
rooms have private bathrooms, TV and air conditioning. |
