Arco De’Tolomei Guest House, located in an ancient Roman palazzo, has been lovingly restored by its owners to maintain all the charm and style dictated by its original romanesque architecture. Nestled in the heart of medieval “Trastevere”, one of the most authentic and characteristic areas of Rome, Arco de’ Tolomei provides the intimacy of a private palazzo with the comforts of a small hotel. Only a few steps from the Tiber River, the quiet, charming guest house overlooks a cosy piazza. Rooms are styled with individual accents and appointed with family antiques passed down through generations. Relax on your private balcony, meet other guests in the common parlor room, or check your e-mail on the internet, available free of charge. The rooms have roman names to them, and recall, the Great Consular Roads, which, over the centuries were extended to make Rome the centre of the world. Take the Via Appia - Regina Viarum - , the Queen of All Highways, or Via Cassia, Via Aurelia - each opening up distant lands. The Via Appia, for instance, was Rome’s effective gateway to the East, the Aurelia hugging the coast northwards making for rapid communication with France and Spain.
All the rooms have furniture handed down in through the family. All rooms have private bathrooms, TV and air conditioning.

The Arco de’Tolomei Guest House is located in close proximity to Rome’s famous monuments, museums and restaurants. Stroll across the Tiber River bridges to the Colosseum, Campo dei Fiori market, the Ghetto, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
How to reach The Arco de’Tolomei Guest House:
• From the main airport Fiumicino(FCO) you can reach us catching the train from the airport to Trastevere railway station where you can catch the n.8 fast tram to Piazza Sonnino (100 metres from the hotel).
• From the main airport Ciampino (CIA) you can catch the train to Termini railway station, where you can catch the line “H” to Piazza Sonnino (100 metres from the hotel).
• The Roma Termini Railway Station is only 15 minutes from our guesthouse, catching the line “H” to Piazza Sonnino (100 metres from the hotel).

Booking Procedure. To confirm your reservation you are kindly requested to send your credit card infos by a Secure Server (SSL 128 bit), please note that your card will not be charged before your stay, just a check of the validity of the card will be performed. You will pay the hotel directly when you check in.
