Hotel Mecenate Palace, named after ancient Rome's
most important patron of the arts, who lived at this location just
over 2,000 years ago, this classy accommodation is situated on top
of the Esquiline, one of the highest of Rome's famous seven hills,
just a step away from the Forum, Colosseum and Opera House. From the
rooftop terrace there's a marvelous view of the bell tower of Santa
